Precision Engineered Orifice Flanges
Orifice Flanges are used with orifice meters for measuring the flow rate of liquids or gases within pipeline systems. These flanges are specially designed with pairs of pressure tappings machined directly into the flange, positioned opposite each other to accurately measure differential pressure.
This design eliminates the need for separate orifice carriers or pipe wall tappings, simplifying installation and improving measurement efficiency. Orifice Flanges are typically supplied with Raised Face (RF) or Ring Type Joint (RTJ) facings and are similar in structure to weld neck or slip-on flanges but include additional precision machining.
A typical set of Orifice Flanges includes an Orifice Plate mounted between the flanges, along with jack screws that help separate the flanges easily for inspection, maintenance, or replacement of the Orifice Plate and gaskets.
